Shopping in Kirkcaldy
The lively pedestrianised shopping centre is a pleasant 5 mins walk from your vacation rental packed with shops and dozens of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. The out of town Asda is open 24/7.
Theatres, Museums and Art Galleries
While in Kirkcaldy take in a show at the Adam Smith Theatre just a short walk from the apartment. Alternative performances are to be had at the nearby Glenrothes Theatre.
Kirkcaldy Museum & Art Gallery
Visit the local history display, museum shop & Wemyss café. Works by Scottish artists including Kirkcaldy-born Jack Vettriano.
Sporting Activities
Feeling sporty, what about an early morning jog along the esplanade, a swim in the indoor pool, a spot of clay pigeon shooting or archery at nearby Cluny Clays. Or what about the whole family trying their hand at the Wellgreen driving range.
A keen golfer, then play Kirkcaldy Golf Course designed by golfing legend, Old Tom Morris.
And don't forget the ice rink.

A great place for children, with a boating lake (peddalos in the shape of swans for hire), ducks to feed, childrens play park, crazy golf, a bouncy castle in summer, playing fields, There are also flower gardens, woodland walks etc..
Ravenscraig Park and Castle
A short drive up the hill from Kirkcaldy Harbour is the 15th Century Ravenscraig Castle. overlooking the Forth.
The park has extensive lawns, woodland and coastal walks and again childrens' play facilities.
The walk along the coast or through the woods from Ravenscraig to the picturesque harbour of Dysart is a must. Lots of boats and the Harbormasters House, a visitor centre with cafe

Kirkcaldy is at the centre of the Fife Coastal Walk, from where you can explore some of Fife's 150km of coastline.
